"We did the online check in shortly before arriving, which helped to make getting to our room easier. The room itself was pleasant, and though we didn’t have our own shower, the sink in the room was a nice addition. There was no unpleasant odors and I enjoyed seeing the sunset from our window and watching people walk below. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we had plenty of towels. We used the soaking pool twice, and there was never..."

"Great stay, we love that McMenamis is consistent. Staff was friendly, restaurant onsite was great, location was good. We realized we wanted to be more in the Hawthorne district but it was a quick drive. Parked in a near by garage for $26 overnight"

"Crystal Hotel is a lovely little slice of vintage fun nestled neatly in Portland. The staff were all super friendly, the food in Hal's Cafe is super tasty, and the soaking pool in the basement is nice on aching joints. My partner and I got lucky enough to have the whole pool to ourselves a couple of times and it was great! We stayed in one of the king suites and it was very cozy, I especially loved the big..."

"We loved our stay! It is a classic McMenamins experience: kooky, delicious, with good service. The staff were all wonderful. Parking is a pain in the tookus, so plan accordingly, or come without a car. Everything you might want is within walking distance anyway, and the public transit is robust."

"Having stayed here before, I truly enjoyed the experience. The rooms are vibrant and full of character, making the stay memorable. You want to be sure to enjoy their fantastic soaking pool. When I needed to update my reservations for our second visit, Ashley went above and beyond, handling everything with professionalism, efficiency, and a friendly attitude. Thank you, Ashley!"

"Online checkin was so simple, and made arriving and checking in so fast. Room was warm and inviting with towels and robes set out and menus for the restaurant and local guidance. Both rooms were immaculate! Strong smell of disinfectant (not over powering, just strong like the place was cleaned two seconds ago!). The passport program is fun little (so so little) loyalty rewards program throughout the McMenamins company. Here to get the hotel stamp you have to solve a..."

"We will definitely stay here again but be warned, there are communal bathrooms but they’re incredible clean and spacious! The soaking pool is amazing and incredibly relaxing. The staff were also incredibly accommodating and helpful, even allowing us to check in a bit early! The room is small but cute, with everything you need inside. Would definitely recommend for couples or single travelers!"

"Definitely an experience! This hotel is beautiful and the rooms have different themes. I have stayed in all the balcony rooms and all are very clean and well kept. Great service as well, the people who work here bring this place together! We left our jacket and card at the bar on the block over and Kay at the front desk went out of her way to get it back to us before we checked out and left town with..."
